95A05 Gathering - 30 Years Later

The class of 95A05 met up this April for their thirty year reunion, affectionately lamenting the fact that the last time they caught up was nine years ago. The three hour long dinner breezed past as banter took them back to when they were students: they were the first batch to bid farewell to the Linden campus, participate in the historic walk along Dunearn, to enjoy the brand new facilities of what Hillcrest ushered in.

Inevitably, conversation also revolved around well-loved teachers, both strict and kind, as well as the shenanigans that junior college teens get up to, such as the realisation that the side gate was not difficult to scale, and that ‘ponteng’ is a word of an earlier generation. They were also ecstatic to have managed to meet up with Mr Benzie Dio, their form teacher, who is still teaching in the college; 95A05 was his very first form class!
