Lunar New Year in UK

For the first quarter of 2016, the NJC UK Chapter participated in two Lunar New Year events:

The first event was the annual Hwa Chong Overseas Support Group (HCOSG) Chinese New Year Carnival, held on the 6th of February, Saturday, at the London Welsh Centre. The carnival was attended by many Singaporeans and non-Singaporeans (mostly students). NUK set up a stall named "Adam Road Drinks Stall", selling local drinks such as Teh Tarik, Milo, Soy Milk (豆漿) and kaya toast. The total amount of sales we made on that day amounted to £67!

The second event was our Spring Gathering Dinner, also held on the 6th of February at Four Seasons Chinatown, London. We were heartened to welcome 21 ex-NJCians from all over the UK—students in UK universities, exchange students who are in the UK for one term, as well as two NJCians who have already graduated and are now working in the UK—for our dinner.
